Issues in African Literature covers a wide range of topics in African Literature including African world view, feminism, sources of Achebe's novels, literary criticism and the African writer and his society. Dr. Charles E. Nnolim is Professor of English at the University of Port-Harcourt, Nigeria. He was recently a Visiting Professor of English at the University of Maryland, Eastern Shore. He is also the author of Benito Cereno: A Study in Name-Symbolism, Approaches to the African Novel, and numerous articles in journals including Research in African Literature, NKA: A Journal of Arts, Commonwealth, Black Academy Review, Wahlverwandtschaften, etc.
